Kerri Diamant, Founder & Board President

Kerri Diamant is the Founder of Inspired IM Foundation (formerly AlterMed Research Foundation), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing evidence-based integrative medicine. She believes that in the near future, far more people can live long, vibrant lives — free from preventable chronic disease — and fully pursue their purpose.

Over the past two decades, millions have benefited from integrative, functional, lifestyle, and mind-body medicine approaches that complement and strengthen conventional care. Today, healthcare is undergoing another transformation. Rapid advances in artificial intelligence, data science, genomics, and regenerative medicine are enabling a deeper understanding of the whole person — not just isolated symptoms.

Kerri advocates for a model of care that prioritizes whole-person health, family history, lifestyle, environment, root causes, and measurable biomarkers, supported by continuous feedback and data-informed decision-making. She believes this whole-person approach can create new opportunities to prevent, delay, and in some cases reverse chronic disease.

With more than 20 years of nonprofit executive leadership and over 15 years in science, technology, and business management, Kerri brings cross-sector experience aligning strategy, operations, and innovation. She holds a BA in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry and a BS in Electrical Engineering.

After conventional medicine offered little hope during a traumatic injury in her youth, her health was restored through complementary therapies. This experience ignited her lifelong commitment to expanding education, research, and patient access to evidence-based integrative medicine.

Through collaboration with healthcare leaders, researchers, volunteers, donors, and public partners, Kerri works to accelerate the integration of whole-person medicine into mainstream healthcare — expanding access, improving outcomes, and helping more individuals and communities achieve optimal health. To date, InspiredIM and AlterMed have trained thousands of practitioners who have helped millions of patients.
